Welcome to the website of the Assistant Deputy Wardens - Deputy Wardens Association.
Our Association represents the supervisory ranks of Assistant Deputy Wardens (Warden - Level I) and Deputy Wardens & Deputy Wardens-in-Command (Warden - Level II) within the New York City Department of Correction. We are 2nd & 3rd level supervisors, equal in pay parity and responsibility with N.Y.P.D. Lieutenants, Captains, and Deputy Inspectors.
As an Association, our goals are to improve the working conditions, benefits, and monetary compensation of our membership.
In addition, we are committed to managing the New York City Department of Correction in a manner that remains the model and beacon for all Correctional Departments throughout the Country.
We are the supervisors of the "Boldest" Correction Officers and Correction Captains in the world. Our aim is to cultivate talent and produce future leaders.
